like the theming, but strange how they explain races and classes as though they were made for specific and predetermined roles (in mechanics and roleplaying), then suddenly at the very end do a 180 into how they should have been discussing the material all along-which is by bringing up nuances and "grey areas" in which players can craft their own characters

These 3rd party DDB content sell me the product nothing more than anything else. The concept of tempting dark side alleviated my burning hatred I had against Grim Hollow. From overexposure through sponsoring UA-cam and pre-existing hatred against dark fantasy (or the world nothing but pain and suffering to be exact), but Mr. Byrne straight-up said they don't like the world that just sucks.

Will the monstrous transformations be in this pack?? The Ring of Hidden Desire is a Fiend transformation exclusive magic item but no mention of transformations on the website. I’m playing a fiend warlock which is on the fiend transformation path too and it would be awesome to have that all on dnd beyond.

The 6th level feature Shadow Step for the Way of Shadow Monk was loved by so many because you had a bunch of 'mostly' free teleports. You now have a bunch of 'mostly' free teleports from the Warlock if they go Fey... I'm thinking of a gish style character with a Shadow Blade teleporting all over the battlefield.

A lot of the art in these books have shown to be really bad. Especially the Orc and Dwarf art I’ve seen. The super feminine dwarven forge/bakery and the South American orcs, complete with morbidly obese Druid/shaman are some of the worst official art I’ve seen. And that’s me censoring my descriptions to be as kind as possible…

All this new granularity in the rules and new subclasses and abilities, not to mention the addition (and changes!) to the spell lists is certainly going to give **Players** lots of new options. (Maybe **too** many, causing analysis paralysis!). This is also going to make being a DM a **lot** harder; DMs will need to put a lot more trust in their player's ability to keep track of what they can do (and not take advantage of the DMs inability to keep track of all of these new options).

Our main job with rouge was to not mess it up. Mean while with paladin they fumbled the bag.

love the change to war magic it was so frustrating with how it worked and felt counter intuitive, this feels way more natural
